home made stun gun

learn how to make a stungun.in this instructable u learn how to make a tazer out of a kodac trow away camera.this is my first instructable so go easy on me.

A homemade stun gun is quite an easy hardware hack, all that is required is;


1)A disposible camera (Perferibly a Kodak one)

2)Soldering Iron

Step 1 Take apart camera

Step 1)First off, take off the protective plastic case of the camera.

Use a golg coulored capasitor.this bums the stun gun up to 1000 volts.

if you want a real taser, remove the capacitor, and holds wires in place where it was capacitor, put the battery, click the switch and you have a taser 400V (fully insured xD)

I'd vote for the tazer. I'm sure flying plastic rods could hurt a lot, more so if you were hit in the right place. But you wouldn't be so confident if you got a tazer to the neck.

Sure, a single vulnerable woman COULD use this with little effect, provided she buys the camera and makes it. OR she could do the LOGICAL thing and just buy a 20 dollar stun gun or 5 dollar can of mace.

i dont mean to crit but a stun gun is one that shoots a object hence stun "gun" this is more a tazer lol

Along with taking the battery out, you should also discharge the capacitor. It still may have electricity in it, so just touch it with a screwdriver, or something of the sort. But make sure you wear rubber gloves and use proper safety precautions.
