Step 3Begin construction
to start simply start to pour fishing weights into the zip lock bags, make sure the bags will fit into the fishing jackets pockets, once youve made sure it will fit into the fishing jackets pockets fold up the bag around the lead so it makes a nice square or rectange, then tape it up so it dosent unfold, instert this into the pocket it was made to fit into then close the pocket.
complete this step for all the pockets on the fishing jacket.
if you want a heavier jacket buy two jackets cut them in half at the seams allong the top of the shoulders and down the sides (on bot jackets) so you end up with two fronts with lots of pockets, then sew the two fronts together (pockets facing opposite ways) then just continue as if it were a normal jacket.
WARNING
i only posted this because it was a cheaper alternative for me, im not saying that it will be for everyone, if your looking for a weight jacket, shop around, you might be able to find a cheap one, i wasnt so i made my own.
