how to change your computer password with command prompt

Step 4Then you are almost done.

then hit enter and it will say enter new password. Do that hit enter and enter the desired password again. hit enter and the password is saved. You can also start you windows PC with CMD and do this. You can also do this on a guest account.

You type net user to find the user accounts then type net user (account name) * and it will say type net password then confirm. If It keeps doing it you are probably done.

if you get the error "system error 5 has occured" go to start-accessories-then right click on command prompt then click on run as administrator it should now work, if you do not have the option of right clicking on it then i have no idea what to do :(

Hmm. Handy, considering most of us arn't admins and most admins nower days have... ummm... Paswords. You arent going anwhere like this if you dont have the admin password. You should use ophCrack instead, it shows you the password and because it doesnt change it, they wont know that you know it!

yeah..it came up system error 5 with me too...I'm guessing that the admin for the computer has disabled pass changing... could just disable all passwords on the cop couldn't I???
