If Firefox works from your USB, can you still get on facebook, youtube etc with Firefox from your USB?

Hey with the application block i found a way to bypass it simply enter the following address into the URL bar C:\Windows\System32\catroot2\{F750E6C3-38EE-11D1-85E5-00C04FC295EE} but this will only work if you copy in every file required to run the application

doesn't work-they just get the firewall or proxy toblock firefox from accessing the net. :(

my school uses bess, it impossible to break the barrier around my school's network, i got my schools admin username but i cant get the password.

whats the username you can usually tell what the password is by what the username is

one of my schools laptop carts broke down and i told the teacher i could fix them with out the computer tech's help and she gave the admin password and username,but since they know i have this information, i could get in huge trouble.

Or if you don't want to use a USB drive. create a folder on the "H" drive (you might need to do it through a word processor) and call it "Firefox". Open your web browser (probably IE) google "firefox" and download the latest version. When promped to save, click "Open" (save command is blocked"). When finished downloading select custom install instead of typical. install it to H:/Firefox. Open Firefox by clicking "My Computer..H:/...Firefox...firefox. When Firefox is open click Tools..Options..Network Tab..Advanced..Connection Settings..No proxy..OK. Now you should be able to go on to Youtube, Facebook, etc. To install flash player see :

we just ggot these new laptops at my school and there dells and when you put a usb in and try to run something they have so many restrictions of like what you can do and half the time you have to be an administrator just do download something or basicly any website but if i found out a way to get the administers page i could do anything i wanted for like an hour and it would go right back to the regular page !!

hmmm... as good as that sounds theres 2 problmes... 1 is what if they use something like websence to stop all browsers from connecting... i have opera on my USB drive (along with firefox and google chrome (ceedo)) and i dont beleave they work.... i mean they dont get the content u want (such as youtube) getting the same websence message that u get in IE (or safari / firefox for macs).... plus last year i dont think i could run programs off my USB drive anyhow cause of all the restrictions.... but that was just for that one computer class (most the comps at my school are macs so i would have to use a mac version of firefox anyhow wouldnt i? err... firefox is already installed so nvm)
