Introduction: How to Hook Up a Computer Headset

this will show how to hook up a computer headset so that you can play games or talk to other people online.

Step 1: Things You Will Need

you will need

headset (with or without microphone)
flashlight
computer
control panel

Step 2: Finding the Slots

go to the back of your computer and close to the bottom there should be three or four empty slots open
(there will be 4 if you don't have speakers)

Step 3: Hooking Up the Headset

first unplug the speakers, then plug in the green colored plug or the plug that has a picture of a headset on it.
then plug the red colored plug or the plug that has a picture of a microphone on it.

Step 4: Making Shure the Microphone Works

to make sure the microphone works go to the control panel and go to speech.

Step 5: Testing the Microphone

go to configure microphone

after you read that ( if you do) click next
and then you can record yourself.
