how to juggle

how to juggle
In this Instructable I will teach you how to juggle 3 balls in a cascade pattern. Once you learn how to juggle 3 balls you can move onto different patterns and even onto different objects. This is my first instructable so please comment and tell me if I am doing something wrong.

Step 1Learn about the ball

learn about the ball
Before I start you have to know that you WILL drop the ball a lot as you learn. Everyone does and you cannon let this get you down. If you have to practice dropping it until it doesn't bother you but if you dont then follow the first step.

The first step is to familiarize yourself with your tool. Toss it around and decide if the ball is the right size for your hand. Note- if you have a square bean bag type thing use that as balls tend to roll away if you drop them but cubes do not.

Pitty, I have already learned to juggle 4 and 5 balls and i do have some tips: for four balls, the most common pattern is just jugging two balls in each hand- no balls cross between hands. I suggest practicing juggling 2 balls first in your right hand, then in your left, then simultaneously. (note- staggering your starts will create the illusion that balls are crossing between your hands which makes your pattern more impressive. This is the most common way of jugging 4) For five balls, start by throwing three up in the air like you would in a 3 ball cascade, but throw them all quickly enough that both of your hands are completely free for a moment before you can catch two of the balls and do an exchange for the third to begin a 3 ball cascade. Alternatively, throw the 3 balls in arcs quickly enough so that your hands are free, then clap your hands together once before catching them. Do this as a warmup before you begin practicing with 5 balls in the air. Also, throw the balls higher than you think you need to when starting out- it will give you more time to throw the balls accurately.

This instructable is good. but i already know how to juggle. for people that are learning to juggle if you juggle and seam to always go forward until you run then you drop them. a simple wall can help you. just juggle infront of the wall so the balls will bounce off them so you learn how to juggle straight up then to juggle going forward.
