Introduction: How to Make a GBC Case Out of Your Own Photos

playing my game boy color is kinda......meh. so i decided to freshen up my old friend WITH A NEW LOOK!

in this instructable, i will teach you how to make a game boy color case out of:

DUCT TAPE (you can use any colors you want!)
Paper
A Computer (PC or MAC does not matter)
internet (to find a image)
Pen Or Sharpie (to show where you will cut)
Scissors
(optional) Exacto  Knife

Step 1: Measure

next step is to measure your game boy.

My gameboy IS: 5 IN Tall
                              3 IN Wide

(yours is probably the same measurements)

Step 2: Find and Print a Image

To find a image just Google image whatever you want. I google imaged Pikachu pixel Art.

once you find a image download it.

load it into your favorite image editor and re-size it to 5in BY 3in.

I used paint.net which is available for free. here is the link: http://www.getpaint.net/

Then print it and cut it out!

Step 3: Cut & Trace

first tape the side of the image to the side of the gameboy to hold it in place and then trace the buttons with a sharpie or pen

Step 4: Cut It OUT!!!

Now just cut out the lines you traced and place it over your gameboy to see if it fits

Step 5: IF YOUR IMAGE DOES NOT

IF YOUR IMAGE DOES NOT COVER THE WHOLE GAMEBOY (LIKE MINE) put on some duct tape, make sure there is no sticky sides, and the tape will probably hang over the side so trim it to fit the gameboy!

Step 6: DUCT TAPE TIME!

Put the duct tape on the side and again double side it so there is no sticky side and tape it over the sides, (make sure to Cut the duct tape so the power button and volume are accessible),  Now use the sticky sides and lightly tape it to the back!

Step 7: FINISHED!

NOW YOU ARE FINISHED!!!!!!!!!! HAVE FUN GAMIN!
