This device meets many states definition of a 'firearm' i.e a device designed to propel a projectile by means of an explosion.
Just... check your local (state) laws before you build this. Most states you have to be 18, but places like NJ NY and IL (and cali) will lock you up for having an 'Unregistered handgun."
Cool project but unless you're 18 and live in a 'free' state its not worth the jail time.
