=_= that's not the proper way to make a siamese cube... The entire middle won't even turn... sigh.... U're supposed to take out the three pieces on one of the edges on one cube, take the same three pieces out of the other cube, chop up that little piece that sticks out on each little cubie, and glue it on to the cubies that hasn't been cut yet. Basically, u'r supposed to make a normal rubik's cube, with the three pieces being a hinge to BOTH the cubes at the same time. -___- since I'm soo bad at explaining, here's the PROPER way to make a siamese cube. http://www.speedcubing.com/ it's under "puzzle building"

Me neither.

I think they took it off the site. If you guys want, I can draw up a diagram to show you how to make it. I might also have my old siamese cube to take a picture of.

That would be great, actually.

This is just another challenge, yes you can only move certain sides but that in itself poses as a challenge, you must find new ways to solve the 'cube' you cant just solve it as two cubes you must come up with new techniques and therefore it's just a new and different challenge! I realize there are some parts that are stuck and can't move but that is one of the things that makes it a whole new challenge to solve this if you get tired of solving a normal 3x3 rubiks cube! And as with bad english or not proper English, I'm way more of a math person so give me a break my goodness this is a Internet site not a college English paper! :)

That's odd looking..

I love how whenever a decent looking girl makes an instructable, no one leaves her alone. Also apart from a cool looking double cube, I don't really see the point in this.
vIQleS says: May 23, 2010. 2:54 PM

If you joined just one corner peice, you'd be able to mix and solve both - no?

l3owzaaaah in reply to vIQleSJul 23, 2010. 12:53 AM
yes, but only if you put them together when they are already solved.

I like how you smile in every photo. you look very exited!!! ^_^
nice cube except You cant call it a cube now.

Gheaa says: Mar 12, 2010. 8:07 PM
i wan't to make it, because that's very cool

yeah, it looks like the cube that you didn't remove the row, you can sramble most of the cube, but the cube with the removed row can only be scrambled on the outside.

Looks nice! Oh and the cube is cool too!

it should work except the pivit point which is only 3 blocks,  nice instructable
derttiej in reply to derttiejFeb 22, 2010. 1:30 PM
i take that back, you couldn't turn in all direction, but it defiantly makes cool art

Looks pretty awesome! You should try to make one that performs like a cube!

FlameSnake says: May 16, 2009. 8:12 PM
Cool concept.. Nice nails same as mah friends. i wont be doing this cuz i cant solve a single cube AND i don't own one >.<....
KentsOkay says: Jan 26, 2009. 6:28 AM
Pretty cool, i guess this makes the cubes unplayable?
CommonSparta (author) in reply to KentsOkayMar 15, 2009. 4:11 PM
It is a new challenge if you already know how to solve the cube... Because of the fewer slices you can move the harder it is to solve.
Kiteman in reply to KentsOkayJan 26, 2009. 2:29 PM
I don't think it will be totally playable, but I'm guessing that a couple of "slices" will be usable on each cube, maybe in two planes.

Nice guide. It could however, use photos of it scrambled.
