how to make a silencr for a break barrel pellet rifle

first when i made the silencer i was surprised it actualy worked it is great for shooting when you have grumpy neighbors it may not totaly silence the sound

Step 1 Things needed

pvc about 4 inches long

drilling tool

cotton batting

any type of tape

a saw

any spring gun will still retain the noise of the action no matter how well silenced it is, which is why most hunters don't bother. might make a difference with moody neighbours though

one very efficient air gun silencer made in Germany owes it's excellent silencing capabilities to it's main internal component a plastic hair roller, the gas that exits the barrel must be deflected back down the silencer and slowed and disrupted before exiting to work

this doesn't realy work... No offense intended but seriously you should test the Before/After sound levels... A silencer only REALY works if it A) Compresses the gasses that are propelling the projectile right when they leave the barrel B) Dampens The Action that propels the projectile Sorry to burst your bubble. Not trying to be mean or hurtful or anything (because i think it looks alot better than the ones i make for people) but it doesn't Really silence ur gun
