today we will be making a wooden knife. so let's begin shall we

Step 1: Gather Your Materials

you will need

1 roll of electric tape
a small block of wood
a dremel multi-max( is helpful)
a file (to shape the blade)
a jigsaw
a pen or pencil
and a table router

Step 2: Cut Block to Size and Draw Outline

you will need to cut the block to size and draw
the design of your knife

(It can be as simple or as complex as you want.)I made mine simple as
you can see

Step 3: Begining the Carving Process

use your jigsaw carefully to begin to cut your hilt out like the picture below

Step 4: Cutting Out the Handle

cut out the handle like in the picture

Step 5: Fillet the Handle

using the dremel multi-max cut a little strip off the sides of the handle to make more detail

Step 6: Begining to Carve the Blade

after shaving a strip off again with the multi-max on both sides of the blade you should have something like the picture below

Step 7: Finishing Up

use a file to make a false edge and router the handle to make it round with a rounding bit.
After that use the electric tape to wrap the handle ( So you don't get wood splinters in your hand after all.)

then you are done.
