i am canadian's AST Pistol Mod

i was having trouble getting the firing pin to pull back on his gun without sharpening the firing pin. and i didnt want to sharpen it so for those of you who may have had the same problem... this is for you.

Step 1 The Peices You Will Need

- 1 ball socket or decapitated grey connector

- type A ammo:
2 orange connectors
2 green rods

- type B ammo:
2 grey connectors
1 orange connector
2 green rods


- I am Canadians AST Pistol

i hate using green rods for ammo so ill stick with yellow rods

can someone find a way to fix the red connector problem on this gun? I tried this instructable, but with the decapitated grey on it fires 2 at a time.

thats a good thing though if u extend the size of the mag

only use rods. the ammo you have is heavier and you can't fit as many in the mag.

I wouldn't use the double ended grey ones, the end that is hit by the pin will split.

Not really, the grey will just get cracked. It is easier to then bend it apart than cut it I suppose.

this mod isnt needed, you just twist the pin.

DUDE, you don't even have to sharpen the pin, just tape the tip with clear tape!!!

the reason he made this was because sometimes the firing pin wont pull back because its caught on one of the bullets. but if you twist the firing pin while you are pulling it back, you wont have that problem.

No mods are needed. Just use clear tape to tape the firing pin, you will cover the grooves, so the problem stops.

i tried that but the tape gets pushed down into the grooves and if you use too much tape it will be too thick and wont fit into the barrel.
