this is my first Instructable so give good comments.

I will test it today (because we have no wind)
it will glide or be pushed by wind.
oh and feel free to make mods just give a comment when you do.

Hello, i make PC-Graphics for a lighter vrsion (fewer knex peaces and rods) if this kite and other shapes with knex-frame.
is they are ready, i upload them.

You can try to build and fly them, if you want

I hope it works - I have a feeling that wind strong enough to lift the kite will also tear it to pieces...

Agreed - with posterboard and K'NEX, this looks a very heavy kite for its size. I also have a query about stability - the CoG looks very far back - it could probably do with a decent tail.

In a wind strong enough to lift the kite, there will be a lot of bending stresses on th joints, so I'm concerned that the whole thing will fold up in shot order.

Have said all that, it looks nice, and if it doesn't fly it would still make a decent display piece,
