Knex Ladder Lift.

Introduction: Knex Ladder Lift.

About: Hey everyone. I'm Thibault Art and my biggest hobby is to build huge machines in K'nex. I like also to draw a lot and take care of my corn snake. On this page you will find K'nex ball machines, K'nex element...

This is a nice lift that brings your K'nex balls 60 cm high with a moving ladder. The lift is able to bring 1/3 K'nex balls at a time. It works about 98%. The only disadvantage is that the lift works a bit slow. En it's really important that the ladder turns to the RIGHT!! If it turns to the left the lift will brake. The lift will be on my YouTube channel: thibault art.

Thanks! The tyres are used as a counterweight, so the motor doesn't have too much trouble to make the ladder go up and down. I have a video on my YouTube channel where you can see this lift in action:

The blue rod with the 3 tyres is attached on the right side of the 2 white connecteors:)

Hello! We made this lift but had a hard time finding all of the gears. There seemed to be one of the yellow gears that was bigger then the others. can you verify this. And let me know where to find a list of all of the parts? We think it's great.

    thank you

I'm really sorry for not replying to your comment for 8 months. It's true that there are 3 different sizes of gears. There are 2 blue small gears, 5 yellow med gears and 1 yellow large gear. Instructables was pretty new to me so i didnt think to make a list of pieces.

    sorry again.

    Awesome lift! :)

My wife wanted to remind me that we tried to make it. Not that we did. we tore it down because of the missing gear.

Do you think if i made this but changed the size a little bit it would be able to transport a golf ball?

I never tried it with a golf ball but there is a really big chance that it does work. The only thing that is possible is that it will be able to take just one ball at a time.
