mini-rubber-band-gun.jpg
Shoots small bits of pencil tips/toothpicks and stuff  as ammo!

One can make this in <15 minutes with stuff around

Take safety precautions while making and using the same as it shoots really far the ammo

What lollipop brand is that? And where did you get the elastic from? This is a very entertaining, time killing project. I love it! :)

Not sure about the brand, any hollow tube, even from a refill can be used. The elastic was from a tag, you can use a good rubber-band instead, the ones that last a bit longer

...did you use final fantasy 7 music in the video? :)

I'm going to make my own, but a bit bigger, using a pen tube... It's more resourceful in my house than a lollipop stick.
xinistrom in reply to thing 2Jul 7, 2012. 2:04 PM
I did that with a pen tube, but a different design, the pen tube soon broke, would recommend reinforcing the end that will take the rest of the force of the plunger

Thanks,
Even with a little mod, one can add a magazine to hold tiny pellets! on the top for more fun

Hi
its just a rectangular box with losely held 'ammo" which loads itself by gravity, when fitted over the barrel top.

Hope this helps as I am out of my home to post the same in action
