Hey bro, being 13 isn't an excuse for a bad ible (which this isn't), so don't be so worried about haters and trolls. Good ible though, but i prefer pvc instead of magazines. It's really a matter of preference as to how you want to use them.

You're all forgetting one crucial factor;

A magazine is a common weapon if you know how to use it right.

When rolled as tight as you can get it together, and after applying tape around the top and bottom edges, you could easily hit someone against their jawline and make them sleep like a baby.

It takes a basic sense of fighting to be able to understand this skill though, and odds are you shouldn't just go around beating people's faces in... 0; ]

Never thought about linking two, and making a ghetto-nunchaku!

Remember, a ninja doesn't purchase his weapons off of the internet, he makes them himself. >,>

A little info on nunchaku: 1) A nunchaku stick should (usually) be 12in. in length. 2) Each stick, on average, should be about 1in. in diameter. 3) String length should usually be as long as the width of your palm. These are the usual preferences that professional nunchaku freestylers or martial artists follow. Like I said, these are preferences. If you wish to your make nunchaku as accurate as you can, these are the simple traits most nunchaku carry. *Note* They're called "nunchaku", not "nunchucks".

Thanks for the info ;) i'm aware they are called nunchaku, but I was simply putting it in layman's terms to make the 'ible easier to find :)

cool, very fun and simple. ive been looking for something like this.

1) Nunchucks are illegal in New York, although not often enforced. Your local laws may vary. 2) Nunchucks are dangerous martial arts weapons, and should only be used under the training of an expert. 3) It's "you're done", as in "you are done". Not "your done", as in a done belonging to you.
codongolev in reply to mrmathJun 2, 2009. 4:48 PM
1) anyone who makes this will probably make it, admire their work, then throw it under a desk to be found 10 years later by different residents of the apartment. 2) nobody's planning on using them. if they were, they wouldn't make paper nunchucks. they would just grab a baseball bat or something. 3) grammar is irrelevant. obviously, you knew what they meant. it doesn't matter. trolling is serious business. don't do it.
mrmath in reply to codongolevJun 3, 2009. 5:01 AM
My comments were far from trolling. The first two were right on point, extremely relevant to the post, and not controversial in the slightest. My third point is a pet peeve of mine, as grammar is extremely relevant, imho.
codongolev in reply to mrmathJun 3, 2009. 12:26 PM
apology time! sorry for my rude comment. I was in a bad mood and I was looking for someone to snark at. you do make some excellent points. and besides, even I get a little ticked when people use bad grammar. sorry again, mrmath.
mrmath in reply to codongolevJun 3, 2009. 1:08 PM
Apology accepted. We're good.
codongolev in reply to mrmathJun 3, 2009. 3:45 PM
thank you, kind sir.

mkay.
originalwynne (author) in reply to mrmathJun 3, 2009. 7:17 AM
thanks for pointing out my grammatical error, I have changed it now. and as codongolev pointed out, they're not intended to be used as serious weapons, just a fun make that you can mess about with. I dont know much about the laws in America but here i think nunchucks are illegal unless you are accredited with a martial arts group, which i am.

wut if i dont have any duct ; wut wil i use
originalwynne (author) in reply to no swear-manDec 24, 2009. 11:53 AM
anything you want will probably work, you can just cover them in sellotape, or you could use packing tape, or even use hot glue and some foam pad things for some nice training chucks =)
skwerrl in reply to originalwynneJun 18, 2009. 10:12 AM
hey if you make more stuff tell me P.S. don' t correct bad grammer if I hav any :)
mrmath in reply to originalwynneJun 3, 2009. 8:08 AM
In New York they are just illegal. I brought it up to my Sensei, and he said he knows, but he has members of the local police force who are either taking classes from him and using them, or who have kids taking classes from him and using them. I think it's one of those things that if they want to get you on it, they can, as a technicality. You may get off on some other charge, but if you've got chucks, you're going down sort of thing.

Noticing constructive criticism is serious business.
originalwolfe says: Jun 3, 2009. 12:59 PM
clearly cool nunchucks! but a what weird line of comment. Anything carried with intent to use as a weapon in a public place can be deemed illegal, but law enforcement will clearly use their own judgement when faced with a kid carrying two comics strung together. Grammatical criticism is a personal thing - for example I would have thought imho is grammatically incorrect at it an unpunctuated abbreviation.
