In this video I will show you how to make and dehydrate Shepherds pie

oil up a hot pan
sweat one chopped onion in the pan
deglasse the pan with 1/2 cup of beef stock
Add 1/2 cup of dehydrated vegetables or 1 cup of fresh
add a clove of crushed garlic
use another 1/2 cup of beef stock
add a pound of ground beef crumbled in small uniform chunks
sift a table spoon of corn starch on to mixture
salt and pepper to taste
once thick turn off the heat and let cool
then put on a dehydrator rack
turn on high for 8 hours

to re hydrate add enough water to just cover the dry mixture
boil till the meat is tender
then add about a 1/2 a cup of water in and add a 1/2 a pack of powdered potatoes

i always thought it was Sheppards pie - lamb mince, and cottage pie - beef mince. <br>kinda more logical that way X3
thanks for the comment <br>you are correct it is technically cottage pie. <br> however I have not yet used lamb for dehydrating and I'm not to sure how well it keeps. <br>I have changed the recipe for that reason <br>but thank you for the keen eye :)
