mommymae's halloween 2008

mommymae\
we went with an alice in wonderland theme with alice, the cheshire cat, queen of hearts and white rabbit. the only things not made by me are shoes, socks, and bags. i used generic costume patterns for the cheshire cat, and rabbit, an old dress was used as a pattern for the queen, and a dress pattern for alice. i made up the apron and hat for alice, the tunic/sash for rabbit, and the crown for the queen as well. the stripes were pieced for the cheshire cat, which took a few days to get right. it was a lot of work, but a ton of fun and the kids are already putting in requests for next year.
