nyc windowsill garden
I live in NYC on the 11th floor of an apartment building and I don't have any outdoor space to plant a garden. Although it's not a new idea, I decided to plant an herb garden in my paper Starbucks cups. I love coffee so I was able to collect quite a few planters without spending any money. I also use the containers from the fresh mushrooms I buy as the trays. And my air conditioner serves as the perfect shelf for the trays and cups. For some reason seeds germinate VERY fast on my bathroom floor. My Mom has even started asking me to start seeds for her. I'll have to give them back soon though because some of the plants quickly outgrew the cups.

great idea-
I've been wanting to start micro-green gardening and this would be a very good/cheap way to start.
