Come on already, fix this properly or delete the link...your link takes you to a larger photo, and the URL you have in the text above takes you to a blogger account to log in. As far as I know this is not about sending us to other web zones but having your indestructable HERE. I hope this 'recipe' is deleted, waited long enough and do not like being sent outside indestructables.
Still waiting for the instructions and its been quite a while since I last asked Is there anyway someone can get hold of this person to request the instructionsw?????
cut tomatoes in quarters, remove seeds drizzle with olive oil and salt bake @ 140-150F for 10-26 hours depending on the weather. it must be dry but still pliable.
To store your tomatoes, let them cool completely, then put them in ziplock bags or glass jars with an airtight lid. They will keep this way for up to 6 months.
To rehydrate your tomatoes if need be, soak them for 5 to 10 minutes in hot water, broth, or wine to cover.

alternatively, you can sun dry it for 3-4 days during the summer months. skip the oil but you should still salt them. cover and put them indoors during night time.
So will this work for green tomatoes also ???
I make these regularly... Try adding some crushed fennel seeds ... !
That's an awesome suggestion!!! I am going to try that!
