Problem: The Ponoko web site does not list telephone books as materials they supply, and they do not accept user-supplied materials. I detect a lack of accuracy, if not honesty.

The contest rules aren't the issue. The claim that Ponoko cut this conflicts with information on the Ponoko web page: "Materials FAQs What materials can I use? You can choose from the range of wood and ply sheeting and acrylic listed in our materials catalog. You can also access the materials catalog through your My Ponoko account. We plan to expand the materials over the coming months. Can I use my own materials? No. Parts can only be cut from materials we supply. Of course, you can use other materials to embellish your design once you get the product parts back from Ponoko." Perhaps you used another laser cutter or laser cutting service, but it was unlikely you used Ponoko. It is a nice project, but certain elements in the description, along with the artificially inflated rating, are severely damaging your credibility.
