Step 1: Things youll need

a skull (hopefully fake :p) that you wont need for anything else.
aluminum foil ( lots of it)
packing tape
1 popsickle stick
gorilla glue ( i find it works best but you don't need to use it)
water
old phone book
exacto blade or something good for cutting the material your skull is made out of
cardboard scraps
i bit of toilet paper
drylock
drill or nails for small hole
black paint (spray paint)
dry brush and biege paint
your choice of lights any color

also i just posted this on my site and please vote for me to win the ipad with the gorilla glue challenge my life is getting really busy and it would help so much.

So, you say to use a skull you wont need for anything else, but as I understand the directions nothing happens to it in the molding process, right? So, I could use one of my nice skulls that I prefer to keep for later use, with just a little cleaning, right? Thanks!

Thanks, This instructable helped me a lot with last Halloween. I won first place in my school's costume contest as "Grim's Bride". The eyes have a timer so they "blink" on and off with a red eerie glow! Thanks again! ^_^

hey guys it would be awsome if you voted for me to win the contest. my familys computer got a virus a while back and so we need something better than my old computer from high school ( ten years ago) so it would be really nice of you.

I think it would be a really awesome addition to the lights shining out of the mouth if perhaps you tinfoiled the inside of the skull. :)

yes i will try but what do you think i should make the silver metal color with? i have no idea except sheet metal so any easyer thing would be nice since i know for a fact steel is not easy to shape. so leave a answer in the comments

use all the steps in your instructable to make skull then sand it smooth you are gonna need multiple grades of really fine grit wet dry sand paper. prime it with acrylic primer inside and out then sand outside again do this about 3 times. now with the drylock paint and the acrylic primer it should be completely water proof . then time for the automotive metallic silver non water based paint do about 3-4 light coats letting dry between coats then sand smooth repeat about 2 more time now you should have a completely water proof skull and be able to do some wet sanding with really fine grit sand paper now for the mirror finish car wax apply as directed it should now look like real metal and be able to see yourself in it. this will take some time but the finished product will be amazing

on the other hand you can buy a precast model and paint it using the steps i gave

Creepy! The red is really a good colour for skulls, nicely done.
