when we were on vacation my mother and brother bought a pen light.
I thought it was enourmously cool but I didnt have the money.
So I made one from spare parts I found around the house.
This is my first instructable so please say what I can improve.
i added this to the get the LED out! competition.

I don't know put did I miss something? Is this a writing pen? If so where is the refill (ink)? I have seen commercial ones in catalogs that write! If you could squeeze in a refill it would allow writing in dark situations. Maybe someone can do an upgrade? I certainly would like to see one submitted! The mail order catalog (Sharper Image ?) ones are expensive for a luxury item ($20. plus the almost one-third shipping costs!!!) I don't even know if these are still available. It was an old catalog. I will try and see if they have a catalog on the web. Thanks. Keep Instructabling. Triumphman.

look, its the same exact pictures, and you didnt modify the actual progect, u just added a sentence. that isnt fair, cause i have another led instructable, and im not gonna go and add a sentence in it and republish it for a contest. people wouldnt find that fair.
