Introduction: Potted Pitaya

I have worked with white pitaya this time and half of it was eated :)

The process took about a week and the pitaya plant grew step by step. During that time I was fullfilled with SURPRISING and I had so much fun!

Step 1: Preparation

the first of all, we must have a pitaya:)

Peel it then add some cold water to mash it

Step 2: Black Seeds

use the silk screen to deal with the white things, we can rinse it with water over and again till the black seeds appear.

Step 3: Drain the Water

in this step,we shoud lay it aside for one night.

Step 4: Plant the Seeds

As you can see, I take my teacup as a flowerpot.

Put some moist soil into the teacup,then cover with the seeds.

The next we must do is to water it and put on film.

All is ok,then we should wait for it in patience.Remenber to water it to keep moist everyday.

According to my try, its germination spend four days.

When it begin germination, remove the film.Remenber to water it to keep moist everyday.

Step 5: The Process of Growth

Wow, I didn't realize you can grow the seeds! By the way, the "pitaya" is called Dragon Fruit in English, because the mature plant looks like the Chinese green dragon :)

Pitaya is the Original name of the fruit, probably from the Nahuatl language. Because Pitaya is native to Mexico.
