insert into card reader. it should work, if not, try again.

Tips:
use 2-3 pieces of straw
try to make the new "lock" the same size the SD is. 1 mm more and it will stick in card reader.

There is no button, although this will still work. In every SD reader there's an Optical Sensor, which checks for the switch. If the switch is in the unlocked position, it will trip the sensor. Putting the straw in blocks the sensor, so you can write to it again.
