Make the goggles? If so, how.

Really like your Raygun. Good use of found items. Looks like you used lamp parts and a table leg. I bet if you plug it in and screw in a Curly Bulb, the lamp will still work. I'll keep it in mind during my next visit to Eco Thrift.

Awesome gear, but I thought Instructables wasn't a photo gallery.

It's a slideshow to show what people have made themselves. Get over it, instructables is just a centre for people to show off what they're made, receive comments and criticism, and to inspire other projects.

Thank you for clearing that up. I thought "Instructables" was to instruct.
it is, partially, but also to show off your demented creations. However, the powers that be decided that "Instruct-and-or-show-off-ables.com" was way too long of a website name. So they left it to the users to realize that the slideshows are there so that they can show off, and people can beg for instructions, eliciting laughter and a resounding NO! from the creator of said slideshow, that is, if  he's mean. Hope I helped ^^
I am going to put a possibly affective but amazingly-epic end to this conversation by saying something completely random. Waffles.
I was instructed and certainly learned something new :) This costume inspires me to try something like this for Halloween.
I really like the goggles but the whole outfit is pretty awsome.
I agree-It also brings to mind "Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow" Or am I glitching?
Yeah, it reminds me of that movie as well. Nice costume!
actually, sky captain and the world of tomarrow is considered a steampunk movie, so it SHOULD remind you of it....
Actually... if ya go by "thematic details"...
Sky captain and the world of tomarrow is considered Diesel Punk.
Do to it being in the period of WWII, and having internal combustion engines, and not steam powered engines.
But it does sort of fall into the same gender, I guess. lol

Hey Steampunk is awesome. I love it so much a made my own club at my school.
Cool man! Love it!
Now am wondering when a steampunk fan-film will be available!
With all the steampunk props, and the steampunk community around the world, wouldn't be difficult to group some aficionados for a movie!
(like the tolkien fan film "Born of Hope" directed by Kate Madison)

This is rather amusing. As soon as I saw the first picture I was hearing "Airship Pirates." Is the gun supposed to be like a flame-thrower?

Quality shots. I love the open mouth pic. The only critique I have is realism. Remember, that form is birthed from function, so imagine your design process a flow of water the next time around. Keep up the great work.

Looks good, planning on using it for Halloween or just for fun?

Ah, well still nice job.

Nice! The extra pics are great. I love how your gun is more towards to fancy side of things, i tend to linger around the more grungy end of steampunk.
