 The only way I can think of to improve this is to paint the cable and/or knot string around it (like when you do hair-wraps) to cover up the stark whiteness of the clearly industrial cable. Then it would be perfect!

Amazing idea and terrific craftsmanship.  Cyanoacrylate has lousy sheer strength. I am wondering how long it took to break off the first key? Has it held up under continuous use? Thanks!
