When I was a child my Grandmother would buy us Hungarian sweets to decorate the Christmas tree. I found out yesterday they are called szaloncukor and got a photo from http://www.jcu.edu/language/hunghemu/index.htm
A couple of years ago I went looking for them but couldn't find them, so I thought of using Chupa Chups http://www.chupachups.com/ to make these.

Step 1: Ingredients

Tissue paper
Aluminium foil (this is a really cheap brand that has no pattern on it)
Chupa Chups
Ribbon

Step 2: Cut

The tissue and foil; I made the foil a little smaller than the tissue.

Step 3: Wrap

There are 2 sheets of tissue and 1 of foil, all at an angle to each other, squashed around the chupa chup.

Step 4: Finished

I couldn't resist doing a couple in red.
