Step 7Why not add a little pen

why not add a little pen
here i took a papermate disposal pen that comes with a cap and cut it's length to the size of a credit card.

Just to be clear a pen has two ends--a ballpoint end and the "other" end.

With a cable cutter cut off the top third of the pen from the "other" end. you don't want to hit ink.

next with a nail push the little stopper down until it reaches the top of the ink.

now you can cut off the remainder of the pen.

drill a hole in the very top of the cap and and put a ring through it.

place it on the carabiner.

It may not be for everyone, but I use one of those sharpie minis. they have a ring that fits through my cable lock key ring.
