the anti wallet

Step 8The anti wallet completed

the anti wallet completed
Call it what you will--the anti wallet, supercharged keychain, wallet killer, transcendental wallet, wallet rolodex--we've used these for five years now and haven't lost a single card or our keys. And when we have misplaced them it has always been for no longer than it takes to
retrace your steps from the car or house because the cards and keys are attached.

in most cases we can swipe our cards without detaching them from the anti wallet.

if the clerk asks for our card all the relevant information is quickly accessible--license on one side, debit/credit card on the other. when we hand the clerk the anti wallet they inevitably
respond with suprise when they take hold of what they expect to be one card and receive the weight of all our cards and keys strung together. "If you lose this your really in trouble," they often say. after we explain that system ensures we do not lose anything, "we can't go far without our car keys." they hand it back saying, "I need something like that."

when we need to detach a card for an atm it is easy to do so.

people wonder if the corners wear out causing the cards to fall off, this has never happened. plastic cards are made of sturdy stuff and keeping all the cards aligned prevents this from happening.

great. the watch is too big for the info it provides. i use the tempo time tag. http://www.vessel.com/prod_cur_tempo.html

Sarcasm: It must be nice to be able to buy an $18 "mini" watch from vessel just because it clips on to your shirt or jacket. The purpose of this whole instructable is to SAVE money not buying an expensive wallet so that we can carry our most used stuff on a clip(or ring or carabiner). I'll stick to the $0.99 watch from the dollar store. Granted, when the battery runs out you have to buy a $4.99 battery at a department store or a pharmacy.... That is why I keep going back to the dollar store and getting a new watch....

i was thinking that instead of punching holes directly into your cards you could use one of those plastic card holder thingums.

and it would still work :D

and for the spare coins you could add a coin pouch keychain

problems solved :D

From what I've read, the punching holes might be a problem.

I would recommend the JIMI wallet. I've heard pretty good things. I feel like it might create some sort of paradox in the anti-wallet continuum, but it does tie up the concerns voiced above.

bills can be held in with a money clip, and people don't generally carry coins in their wallets, at least I don't.

I don't because they fall out to easily. I just put them in my pocket,

i have a zipped pocket on the outside back face of my wallet. here in the UK people never really use money clips.

Same in Australia, and I have a zippered coin pocket on the outside of my wallet too.

we don't in the us either...

I carry my big bills and credit cards in a front pocket wallet with a money clip on the outside. The small bills, a debit card, and other junk is in a regular wallet in my back pocket. That way, if I forget one wallet, I normally still have the other as a back up. And if my back wallet is pilfered, they only get the little stuff.

Make sure you find out from your state if punching a hole in your drivers license will invalidate it before you do so. My state punches holes in expired licenses and permits.
