the gladiatior miniature

the gladiatior miniature
hello, i would like it if you read the text below:

i have a couple of little magntes and also 'magnetix' and i made something of them. a little gladiator, actually. it is really easy to make, and i'm not going to explain step by step, as everyone has different amounts of magnets, so everyone can make it's own, unique man.

the only things you need are:
-little round magnets, pic 2
-little iron balls, pic 2
-glue
-some time, pic 3
-stand (simple, little iron box will work)
-some iron crap

you all see them on the pictures below.
interested?

oh, and for 'accessoires', you can use various stuff, i used a hard drive (50gb, nothing important) to make the shield and 'hat'.
and the dagger and sword can be easily found here:

Step 1The beginning

the beginning
you will take the stand and, if you want, measure out where the guy will stand. think about the amount of magnets on each leg/arm.
and if you don't know how much to use, here are a few directions:
upper arm: 5 magnets
lower arm: 4 mag
upper leg: 5 mag
lower leg: 5 / 6 mag
torso: 4 / 5 mag
neck: 2 / 1 mag

you should get the legs now and glue them on. only the lower legs with an iron ball on each of them. after some 30 minutes (depends on the glue), you paste the upper legs on, and after 30 minutes again, you paste ONE iron ball on both. the leg part is now done, congratulations.

now take the 'torso' magnets, and glue them on the last iron ball.
after the 30 minutes, another iron balll on them.
now decide if you want a shield. if you don't skip the next alinea.

glue the arm part on the shield first, and let that dry. you better glue the shield on a position on wich it is positioned at an natural angle with the arm and body, like on the pic.

glue the two arms onto the last iron ball, you should glue your shield (if you made one) against the leg too. it's really more stabilized if you do.

the head is really easy, just glue the two magnets on the iron ball, another iron ball on them, and (recommended) a hat. search your iron crap, i got it from that hard disk drive. again, it had only 50 gigabyte, and wasn't worth using.
