thick & quick knit mittens

these mittens are knit on size US17 straight needles. they call for one ball of lion brand jiffy thick & quick and i used color 212 adirondacks. the front and back are knit separately and sewn together. this was a good beginner project, as most mittens are knit on double-pointed needles.

I have made several attempts to making a mitten on dp needles. Where may I find the pattern for these mittens. I would like to try and knit these. They look really great. Thank you

yeah, the double pointed needles are rough! i found this pattern on the internet. i don't know the website, but it is called "Lion Brand Jiffy Thick & Quick Knit Mittens" and is pattern #30166.
