welcome to my first instructable! this is my trusty tobacco tin tool kit, quite often im sitting in my room or out and about  and i want to take something apart repair an item or even start a project without going down to my workshop (the man cave) so i came up with this, the tobbaco in tool kit.

Step 1: What's in the kit?

the kit currently holds:
sandpaper
paper for notes and plans
two pieces of scrap wood
pencil
solder
copper wire
supper glue
4 in 1 screwdriver
zip tie
multi tool
alan keys (hex keys)
spanner
5 nails
4 matches
1 giant nail
birthday candle
toothpick
saw

but there's still room for more please suggest items to go into the mighty tool box

along with that you will need a tobaco in i used one that my dad bought me off ebay when i was about 10-11 (it had never held tobacco) and i decorated it with a skull and cross bones. (these are about £1.50 to buy on ebay at time of writing)

Very well presented and thought out, good work. :D

Might I suggest a couple of things you may find useful.

1. An elastoplast (for those untimely accidents we all have with tools).

2. A corux, which is a single edged razor blade with a cardboard cover over the blade. Sharper than your multi-tool blade. A good hardware store will have them.

3. A re-sealable small plastic bag, they're always handy, maybe with a tissue or surgical wipe in it.

4. Duct tape!!! Endless uses.

I hope you find my suggestions useful and you can fit them into your kit. It will also help to stop things moving or rattling around in the tin.

I made my own toolkit from a plastic paint box instead.
even added a plier and a wire cutter.
also tried fitting a hammer, but never worked
