Briliiant idea. Right now I have a cell phone and a cell phone torch accessory. However the torch accessory has its own independent power source as a button cell. So can I get rid of the button cell and wire the torch directly to the phone battery? Also will this work on any type of phone?

Why not just use AA Cells - or am I missing the point of using a cellphone battery to light a LED aka make a flashlight?
