wooden buster sword

this is the wooden "buster" sword off final fantasy that I made a while ago. it isn't as large as it is in the game, but it sure as hell is heavy. it is made of plywood, and the handle is actually not part of the blade. if you look at the sword in my hands (I'm blocking my face for a reason), you can get an idea of how large it is.

well, there are two things you could use to make the holes. one is a hole saw, and the other is a spade bit. you could also use a large drill and file the hole bigger. oh yeah, and check out my second buster sword.

nice but could you make instructable on how to make it? also another thing you could do take a carving knife or a scalpel and carve little runes or words into it or you could some holes and fill them with polished quartz to make it look like diamonds also you can get some red paint and slab it on make it look like blood sorry if comment is too long i just saw potential lol please reply

hey, like I said below, you should probably check out my mark 2 sword. It is so much better you would think of this as dirt. but alas, the mark 2 isn't finished (I'm still painting it) but it will be up here soon.

cool i will. actually this is better than mine. its made of this paper stuff filled with cardboard posterboard etc. its covered with grey tape and the handle guard has yellow tape. im making it crisis core style, the only thing left is to put black tape on the blade. plus mine bends a little

yeah, its just plywood. there was a big sheet of it lying around, so i figured i'd use it for something ; )
