Rnd 3: Work 1 sc, 1 hdc, 2 dc, 5 tr, 2 dc, 1 hdc, 1 sc in each loop, join in first sc.
Rnd 4: SI St in each of first 2 sts, ch 1, sc in next St, * ch 7, skip 2 sts, sc in next St, ch 7, skip 2 sts, sc in next St, ch 2, skip 6 sts, sc in next St, repeat from * around, ending last repeat with SI St in first sc.

SKIRT: With wrong side of motifs facing, working along straight edge, ch 12 (14), sc in center St of ch-13 loop, * ch 9, sc in center St of next loop, ch 6, sc in center St of next loop, ch 6, sc in center St of next loop, ch 9, sc in  joining of motifs, repeat from * across row ending last repeat sc in center St of ch-13 loop, turn.
Row 2: Ch 3 (counts as first dc), ** 9 dc over next loop, dc in next sc, * 6 dc over next loop, dc in next sc, repeat from * once, 9 dc over next loop, dc in next sc, repeat from ** across, end with 1 dc in each of 12 (14) sts of ch, cut thread, do not turn.
Row 3: Attach thread in 3rd St of ch 3, working in back loop of sts only, ch 3, 1 dc in each of the next 9 dc, * skip next 2 dc, 1 dc, ch 3, 1 dc (shell) in next St, skip next 2 dc, 1 dc in each of the next 7 dc, repeat from * across, end 1 dc in each of last 3 dc, turn.
