We’re getting very close to a delicious finish line. It’s time to cook, sauce, and serve your first fresh homemade pasta!

Step 1: What You'll Learn in This Video Lesson:

  • How to properly cook fresh pasta.
  • The best way to add sauce to pasta.
  • How to dress up your finished servings.

Step 2: Key Points to Remember:

  • Add 4 cups of water to the pot for every 100g of pasta to be cooked.
  • Salt the water just as it comes to a boil.
  • Once pasta is added, cover pot with lid to return water to boiling as quickly as possible.
  • Add 1/4 cup of pasta water to the Creamy Pesto Sauce before mixing it with the noodles.
  • Be gentle with the noodles so they don't break or mush as you mix them into the sauce.
  • Good quality parmesan makes everything better!!
