I agree! Most people eat more than is necessary. My wife and I have been on the 5-2 diet for 2 years. We "fast" 2 day's per week by skipping just one meal on each of those days. I'm 59 years old, 173cm tall and 69kg of which 13kg is fat.I swim 1km every work day before breakfast. On fasting days, I have plenty of energy to enjoy sport and recreation. I skip lunch on my weekly golf day ... carrying a full set of clubs! That's a 6km walk carrying 15kg. 2 year's ago my handicap was 15, now I'm off 9. I rest my case!My tip is to combine sensible eating with regular fasting and an exercise you love. Build your lifestyle around these habits. Soon you'll be able to binge on special occasions, knowing you can trim down quickly straight afterwards.
