If it were me, the primary use would be like a "helping hands" for soldering or other detail work, under manual control rather than automated movement. A robot arm big, strong and precise enough for any bigger jobs would probably be unaffordable in terms of materials.What would really make it stand out from both manual helping-handses and MeArm-type projects would be good IK so you can move the end effector in XYZ coordinates, rather than just controlling the joint axes directly.What's the background of your team of engineers? - PKM
