Not sure what you'd use, you could try just making a more accurate paper model and skip the modeling putty. That's why I used the hokey mask, need something solid to hold it toghether.

The only blue used is blue masking tape. If you're talking about the flexible ruler, that was just used to make sure the ears and other curves stay flexible. Once you get the lines drawn out on one, you shape it to fit and use it for the other side. Here is a less expensive one from Jo-Ann fabrics.http://www.joann.com/wrights-ez-flex-design-rule/7417116.html

You let people get in real close and let it rip: "I AM ANUBIS, GOD OF THE UNDERWORLD!" :-DTotally freaks them out. Be careful with young kids though. :-D

Been thinking about doing this, goes on the bucket list. Gopro with WiFi will do very nicely. :-)

That is also mentioned in the consumer report article, and other places as well, the scanner is looking for a signal and the two of them give it no intelligible data. The problem is that we live in a world described by Huxley in Brave New World, the truth is given to us freely but it's so buried in trivial white noise (see: Kardashians and kittah videos) that it becomes very difficult to discern truth from distraction. So yes . . . what if they are right? Let people laugh, opinions don't mean anything at all. :-)
