Wire Wrapped Copper Ring
The Copper rings looks great and with weaved design, i hope its more resistant to heat too.
Hiwell, yes resistor rating is important, typically resistor with same wattage rating may have different ohmic value, so instead go with the ohmic value. Add 1k ohm resistor between the echo pin and GPIO as in above. (To know resistor is 1k, you can refer to colour coding chart or measure with multi-meter).Waiting for sensor is due to improper value at Echo pin.Let me know, if you face further trouble, if any.
Hi I am making the ultrasonic sensor part of this and I am running into a few issues. My first question is, does the resistor size matter? I have a 1 watt and a 1/4 watt which one do I use? Secondly when I run the code for the ultrasonic sensor it says "waiting For Sensor" but nothing shows up. I need help ASAP can someone please help me????
The Engineering Crash Course (for Makers)
Nice instructible for getting started, it would be nice to include ever expanding new MCU in future.
