About
Today, more than ever it seems that the lack of communication between children and parents, but also between children themselves isn't what it used to be. Because of the widespread of internet and computers, more and more children tend to spend most of their time in front of their computers, playing games or socializing online. We all play games at some time or other so what makes an interesting nonsense game to you? Some people love the World of War Craft games and others like brain quizzes. Some people like playing naughts and crosses but this game is also known as ticktacktoe in some countries. The creators of the popular Wizkids games have spawned an entire industry within the larger context of collectible miniature games (Marvel and DV Heroclix are others in the field which are well known names to gamers). Wizkids games aims to make only games which are the product of a lot of imagination and creativity and will be exciting to gamers everywhere. While Wizkids focus on producing collectible miniature games, these games are not just for collecting - the miniature figures are great for bringing a lot of excitement to tabletop gaming. In today's world of internet and text messaging, face to face interactions are no longer necessary and game developers think the only form of multiplayer should be through an internet connection. When I was a kid in elementary school, some of my best memories were picking up a Super Nintendo game at Blockbuster, like Battle Toads and Double Dragons, after school on a Friday, having a couple friends over to spend the night, and playing games until we fell asleep. Back then, any game that wasn't an RPG, you could safely assume it was more than one player. Even some RPGs were two player, like the Lord of the Rings on SNES or Secret of Mana.Who ever said that you need to pay a lot of money to have fun? Fun can come at small prices and in huge quantities, no matter your age, statute, education or income. Fun is something that everybody can have, no matter what.
