  • Make your own Free Cabinet Files (.cab)

I know I'm a little late, but for those in the future, the problem is that you were trying to store data directly on the C: drive.A simple way to fix this would be to run command prompt as an administrator. If you do not have administrator privileges, what you can to is use the 'cd' command to navigate your way to your user profile, where you have full access, then creating your ddf file there. then, use the makecab command to create your .cab file.
