Tell us about yourself!
The point about sense of hearing actually favors quiet bikes. On a quiet bike you can hear the road noise of the cars around you, putting you in even greater control of your own safety. With loud pipes, you deafen yourself to this important data while riding. Regarding statistics, the data speaks for itself. There aren't two ways to interpret it. Loud bikes and quiet bikes have similar rates of all types of accidents. That's it. There is no measurable safety benefit to riding a loud motorcycle.
LOL! So you are implying that the big and powerful quiet motorcycle lobby funded a longitudinal study looking at decades of crash reports, then paid researchers to say what they wanted? Nice.Having 8+ years riding a nearly silent electric motorcycle in the Washington, DC and NYC metro areas I assure you that other vehicles do not cut me off any more than they do when I'm driving a car.
Loud pipes do not save lives. This has been disproven by research groups many years ago. Here is a good article explaining the justification. Ride safe!http://www.revzilla.com/common-tread/stop-saying-loud-pipes-save-lives
