I'm trying to replicate this. So far, I've used the same transistor, the same coil number, and roughly the same coil width. The main differences are the LED I'm using requires 9v, and the 22 gauge wire. I can't get a voltage on the receiver coil, but I can on the transmitter coil. My main question is: Is the insulation too thick? Or is there another issue?
