About:I have been "creating" for what seems like forever. I've tried tons of crafts - some just to see how they're done. Some of my favorites include thrown pottery, sculpting, furniture building, wood carving, leather craft, and whip-braiding. A lot of those techniques sometimes find their way into my jewelry. I have been creating jewelry with wire for almost 25 years, so in 2007 when I took a leap of faith to start selling my works full time, I already had a huge inventory. I never had any intention of making a living with my jewelry - it was just an expensive hobby - a way to spend my free time, and end up with something pretty to wear. Most of what i made, I gave away to friends and family as gifts. Sometimes I miss the normal perks that come with a 'regular job' - you know - vacations, sick days, dental - but only sometimes. When I start to miss them, I just remind myself of the really great perks I have now - like making my own hours, playing with pretty shiny things all day, and working in my jammies if I want too :D Thanks for stopping by.....
