Like you, I don't have much luck with VI editor. Much better success with nano.Try navigating to /etc/modprobe.dthen run nano alsa-blacklist.confenter the text above.hit ctrl-x and choose Y for savethen reboot.
But you would save the original $8 you spent.
This was a nice and easy build. My pictures are from making 8 four inch cuts with a bandsaw. Check out all that lovely dust caught in my first bin that isn't clogging my filter. Would buy again.
P.S. Also notice how I left the brick out of the bottom, but it still caught alot of dust.

This looks great. I have a couple questions 1. How long does the polyurethane smell last? I am thinking about doing it in my kitchen where the tile is worn after 22 years. But. My fam tends to get nauseas from that smell. 2. Where do you get all the paper bags?3. Would this be suitable for a kitchen floor?
