Well, actually I have a degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, so I suppose I do have the qualifications to do that. If you look closely, you can notice that there are no protective connectors to the Raspberry Pi adaptor either, so, for the use I intended to use the cord it did more than fine. Therefore, there are absolutely no problems using a cable like this to a Raspberry Pi adaptor.Also the step is a bonus step, for people who do have the right qualifications to do that, so please, if you don't have the right qualifications to do that just skip that step. However thank you for your comment, I will make it clear in the description for people who lack the appropriate qualifications to do that to avoid this step.
