Make sure servo is not faulty, wires are tightly inserted
p[lug your servo other pin available for servo on shieldand change this in your codeconst int penServoPin =9 ;
As per creator team of Makerboat gcode extension it is only work for 0.48.5 version
Hello MohamedR23 i have seen you arduino code i thing i dont understand why you define your servo at pin 14 there not any pin 14 in UNO and in Mega pin 14 is TX pin you must have to define Servo at pin 10your current code isconst int penServoPin =14 ;it need to beconst int penServoPin =10 ;
and can you please share exact arduino code which you uploading to arduino i have to see what you edited in it
i suggest you please check your both stepper motor individually wheather they are not faulty, how to do this please see this video.
ok ok i get it, remove it means there is shorting socket over it you just have to remove that socket not whole pin...
Regarding your second question, which test sketch you use ? what steps per revolution you keep ?by the way this settings all effect on your plotting scale only, but why your drawings get mess up need to see
I think you have connected axis reverse like vertical axis and horizontal axis are wire reverse try by inter change them
appritiation of people like you are highly motivated for me. thanks for vote
thank you very much
yes you can use arduino Mega or Uno as main control but yes if you moves towards larger steppers like NEME 17 you need a separate stepper controller card and it's module, for example GRBL CNC shield with 4 nos. A94888 stepper driver shield, all this can mount over arduino board but CNC shield required to give external 12 V DC in this way you achieve more professional work with 3D motion also
thumbs up bro
"Server not found" error can be caused by Windows Firewall blocking Firefox from accessing the Internet. check basic settings of your pc
it's NEMA 17
its sound great idea,
Thank you very much brother
yes it is, need lots of trail and error, thanks for appriciation..
just replace z axis pen with 10w laser and give external power to laser i thinks this will enough to cut thin paper or plastic like sticker paper

as we see here i use G-code format file to run this CNC machine, G-code file is the sets of commands, this commands instruct stepper how to move. so when G-code upload to arduino every commands are mapped accordingly and arduino instruct stepper to move accordingly
Thanks to instructable it provides a good platform to express
