    Vertical Windmill Evapotron

So I've got it running right now in my driveway evaporating.. It ran for 36 hours and didn't stop over the weekend. So now I'm gonna sit it up in the sun and let the motor heat up on concrete. I wanna try to blow it up out here instead of the desert. Its a brushless motor. I think it will take alot of abuse before it dies. I have some questions though after seeing water in the tray. How did you handle the ground not being level? I am finding at least in my drive way with the tilt, water pools at one end of the tray. Here is a video if you're curious https://www.facebook.com/goff.caley/videos/10100892609447304/

haha thanks! yeah I was thinking that myself (the channel)... when exodus came along, how did you dispose of the small left over amount? I am going to be treating the tray with this stuff called Pool Tech, it has 12.5% sodium hydrochloride in it so it will be nice and bleached... did you pack it out? I guess I could put it in a bucket and hoof it out

SWEET. I have a hybrid model of yours and the original design. I opted for a total battery powered 10rpm dc motor, which is powered by a 15 mAH battery. The battery remains topped off by means of a solar panel which is is hooked into a solar charge controller to keep from over charging. I put a PWM switch in between the Charge controller and the motor to adjust the speed of the drum... However I realized after the fact that the PWM switch doesn't actually adjust much haha. The actual drum spins at about 5rpm nice and smooth. I'm gonna be at 6:15 and Guild (our entire village is at the block of 6:30 and G). If you're out there, definitely swing by, see how you inspired me!

I'm looking for some bearings that have a OD32 and ID10mm any idea where I can find some?

Thanks for the reply! I looked at that and it seems like it would great in fitting into the 1 in pvc cross piece. My bore on my hubs are 3/8, which required me to get a 3/8 threaded rod. I was able to wrap some duct tape around it in a spot to get my 1/2 in gear mount to bite nicely. Do you think I could do the same here where the bore and bearing meet? Instead of the bearing riding metal against metal in the bearing, it would be the bearing sleeve riding on duct tape wrapped around the threaded rod

well it seems the coil and frame were one assembly. I ended up just breaking the legs, which will probably be better because I can remount this to orient it horizontally to be omni directional. However I'm looking at the back of this board, and it looks nothing like the picures... are all these IC's gonna be a bad thing?

I'm trying to remove the coil from this NMB 3612KL-04W-B66 fan frame. I have got the blades off just fine but I can't seem to get the coil out of the frame.... It seems to be pressed into the plastic?Thoughts?
